ALIVE : MY REVENGE
When President Habyarimana's plane was shot down on the evening of April 6, we were already in bed. It was the shouts and chants that woke us the next morning: "Ikinani cyahanutse" ("The invincible has fallen from the sky!") echoed throughout the neighborhood, celebrating the killing of the man who called himself "Ikinani," the invincible. That morning, my only desire was to go out into the street and sing with my comrades.
